What’s in a name?

​

As a child I spent a number of years in Africa, close to the Congo. The word “lumba” is a word from the Kikongo language of Africa, translated means “blend”.

​

I chose this name from the language I heard for years growing up because I feel it describes the way I perform massage therapy; by blending modalities and techniques learned over the last 30 years.

I am excited to continue to add more to the lumba in years to come!
